[Storyline]
The machinima follows Lieutenant Colonel Marcus Banks in the year of 2552.
The United Nations Space Command have discovered Installation 05, which is simply called "Delta Halo" by humans, it is the second Halo ring discovered by humanity.
As soon as the first UNSC frigates entered the surface of Delta Halo they were attacked by Covenant corvettes. Luckily the UNSC forces outnumbered the few corvettes that hovered over the installation.
The UNSC frigates quickly took control over the covenant free zone. Different frigates went down to drop off troops of ODST's to elimenate the Covenant forces on the surface. Covenant defence troops were placed all over the ring. As soon as the Covenant discovered that they were attacked by the UNSC they sent away scouts to alarm the other Covenant units to help them out. Of course, it will take a while until any Covenant reinforcements will arrive. And the UNSC knows that well, so they take this chance to capture any kind of enemy information they can get. And that's where we get to the LtCol.
He's sent by ONI to retrieve the enemy information. An ancient data core that should be located just where the battle is fought. But the battle comes at a big risk, times short. And it will not take a long while before the Covenant reinforcements arrive.
